Computer Controlled "Pain-Free Anesthesia"

Our new , STA™ System featuring the Wand handpiece, was developed to replace the traditional syringe in dentistry. As much of a revolution as an evolution, this computer controlled anesthetic delivery system is a logical progression from the syringe which has seen little change since its invention more than 150 years ago. With the STA™ System and the Wand, the Dr. Katz  can bring one of dentistry's last remaining antiquated designs into the 21st century. The STA™ System technology utilizes computer controlled local anesthesia delivery to enhance the injection process for both the dentist and the patient. Audio and visual confirmations make injections  more accurate and less stressful.

CEREC

For premium aesthetic porcelain restorations, or to replace leaking amalgam fillings, we have integrated the CEREC system. This technology allows us to create permanent tooth colored crowns and fillings without uncomfortable impressions or multiple appointments. This High-Tech system is not available in most dental offices

Neuromuscular Dentistry and Headache Relief

Everyone has to deal with headaches, neck or shoulder aches at some point in his or her life. For some, the remedy is as simple as taking an aspirin or a hot shower. However, for many others the pain is so severe that they struggle just to get through the day. It is estimated that 45 million Americans suffer from frequent headaches. Unfortunately, many will either assume it's due to a stressful job/life or it's a result of getting older. Others will go from doctor to doctor frantically searching for a cure. (With the advent of Botox injections, it seems consumers are willing to try anything to make the pain go away.) While prescription medicine sometimes provides the necessary aid, it often only addresses the symptoms and not the underlying causes.
